Background looks very nice. The font clashes a bit and I'm not a huge fan of the drop shadow placement but it looks very nice overall.
I agree with Brian, the shadow should probably be shifted a little to the right or left. The font works though. Could possibly use a thinker outline or more contrast with the background. Idk if I like the fuzziness/clarity of the background as well.
